Playing Around with Paint Shop Pro X
I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Corel Paint Shop Pro X, so that I could crop and edit the pictures I post on this and other Blogs. I did not have the software when I posted the earlier photos of Anna when she was 12 weeks old.
The pictures in the post below were simply cropped to better show Anna, while the photos above were altered for special effects.
The top picture was modified with the pencil effect while the bottom one was created with the topographic effect.
You can downloadthe 30 day trial here

Anna is Four Months Old Today
Anna is four months old today, and what a character she has become. She races around, running upon the sofa, using the back as a "banked turn" to continue her lap around the house.
She is about 95% housebroken, having accidents only when we are unable to notice her signal that she wants to go out. She is a truly terrific dog and I would recommend an American Hairless Terrier to anyone.

What Do You Feed Your Dog
We've come a long way since my boyhood when it was customary to feed the old farm dog anything we didn't eat- that is the dog got the leftovers after we had finished our meal.
OR, HAVE WE REALLY ?
Most dog foods contain primarily cereal grains and chicken by-products.
Chicken by-products are things left over from the slaughter of chickens for human consumption, including everything from beak to feet. Certainly nothing we would want to eat.
We recommend you read the article provided by the Animal Protection Institute indicating what is really in our pet food, available by clicking the highlighted link.
So what do we feed our dogs? Until recently, we fed the name brands including Purina One, Iams and Eukanuba.
We now feed Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul and BilJac. Each contains pure meat as the top ingredients and neither contain chicken by-products.
